Wow. All of the plot pieces are falling into place. I have to keep reading so we'll keep this review quick!

SPOILERS AHEAD

Okay, so I really only have three things to comment on.

1) Zephyr and Alessandro's (I don't care for Alpha) relationship. It's SO crazy to me that this girl just threw herself at this guy and now he notices her stalking him and then proposes to marry him. I know the sweets was a specific memory that indicates she knew something deeper about him, but how does this guy lowkey not file a restraining order or something? It's giving creepy stalker fangirl! I'm glad Zephyr stopped giving herself to him, though, and he started to put in more effort toward her. With the memory loss detail it also sucks that he could potentially never remember. What happened when he left her?? Did Hector attack him then??

2) Hector being the killer / traitor wasn't something I saw coming. Honestly, I thought it was going to be Victor. Also why were their names SO similar. I literally was struggling to remember which was which. He's sick, though. Also I think he killed someone Shadowman loves. Also Shadowman... reveal yourself!

3) The reveal that Zen was the original Morana is crazy. I thought Zen was blonde... Oh wait or was that Zephyr. Oh yeah, Zen was brunette (and in the first book, the two girls who were taken were both brunette). I loved Zen. And I loved Zen and Zephyr's bond. And now she was killed ??? Wtf. Glad Shadowman tried to help.

I'm so sucked in to this storyline. Onto the next!
