I really loved this book. The characters and plot were executed perfectly! I have read Jenny Han’s other series The Summer I Turned Pretty and I genuinely think I enjoyed this one better! The plot twists were interesting even if they weren’t that many in the book. I have yet to watch the movie but I’m really excited to after reading this book.
I honestly thought I had had enough of the “fake dating” trope but this book did it so well! All the characters felt very real and well written and Lara Jean’s inner monologue felt like a real teenager rather than an adult pretending to be a teenager. I lived this book and my only complaint is that it cursed. I really hate it when people write books where all the tens do is curse, this book didn’t have way to many curse words but it had a good few. Cause being a teenager myself we don’t just curse all the time and even though I know some teenagers do, they should have some variety. Lara Jean didn’t curse though, so I guess that is the variety that we’re getting, but I still feel like we could do better. Anyway I loved this book so much and totally recommend it!
