Wow was this book a doozy! Like many others, I couldn't help the tears that came to my eyes during the latter half of this book.
There were so many characters in this book (Beetee, Mags, Wiress, Effie) from the others, which explained a lot of the connections Haymitch has.
I have a new empathy for Effie because it almost feels like she's been forced to join The Hunger Games now.
So much grief. It was not a lie about how much propaganda was going to be in this book.
