Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro

3.0

What a strange book. Somehow, after all of this, I was not convinced (and I feel like I should apologize) about the human-ness of Kathy. Because the human thing to do in this case would be to scream and shout, and fight, and disobey, and flee. ...

They trained them well, didn't they.

What a strange book, a chilling idea, yet somehow it seems very possible. Oh, the humanity. The world (the language, the ideas) did not charm me in any way. I guess it shouldn't have?
