Wonderful continuation of this brilliant series. The heroine continues to be delightfully human (though with wits, beauty and training far beyond most), the plot entertaining and captivating, the romance heart-rending, and the political intrigue genuinely surprising. Marvelously done, and I can't wait to start Kushiel's Avatar.
