A brother and sister are reconnecting at a desert resort. They escaped the cult they grew up in and a documentary about the cult is being made. I was really intrigued by the premise, but the execution fell flat for me. I wish there had been great descriptions of the desert and the resort, but it was very minimal. The story starts off on Day 6 of the trip and eventually goes back and tells you about the prior days, which I didn't care for. There are flashbacks to life in the cult, but not a lot of information on what the cult believed and how it ran, I wish there was more. I saw the twist coming, just overall disappointed.
