The Goodbye Cat by Hiro Arikawa

4.0

The Goodbye Cat by Hiro Arikawa is a sweet set of stories with cats as a focal point.

Sometimes we don’t really take into account what animals can do for you during rough periods of time, how they are with you for a long time throughout your childhood life, or adult life. They are living beings and they fill every empty space in your heart and in your house. This book details multiple stories regarding cat owners and how they lived with them. We see our lovable cats from Arikawa’s previous story. I think that this book was a cute read to see how cats affected these people’s lives, since cats get a bad rep from the world. This story is an advocate for cats.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants a sweet novel about cats.
