Vivid and heartbreaking. A deal with the devil made nuanced by a punchy main characters. Sharp surprised throughout each chapter, and callbacks which keep the reader’s memory as clear as Addie’s. Breaks your heart every few pages, through forgetting and remembering. Surprisingly and painfully relatable for such a far fetched story. Makes you want to feel known and loved in the deepest way.
