If ever if needs to be said, it's right now: my ratings are always my enjoyment of a book and my review is my feelings/relation. This book is not for me. That does not mean the author is a bad writer or that other people won't enjoy it.......it just wasn'f my taste.

Hazel is self-centered yet self-sabotaging, which makes for an insufferable combination. I had to keep reminding myself she's only 23 yrs old and still immature in alog of ways. Which isn'f an excuse, but it just gives perspective.
At one point, she literally tells Ash she needs space and the spends a week+ upset that he hasn't reached out to her. And that was after she tried to use sex as a way to not deal with her emotions.
long story short, I do not like Hazel and I spent 75+% of this book ready for it to be over so I didn't have to deal with hed anymore.

that being said, the author's writing of everyone else, and the plot as a whole, saved it from being dnfed. Like, Hazel is the outlier in this scenario, but she is a big enough part of the plot/story that I can't just over look her.
