I absolutely adored this book. It was complicated and sad and full of the deepest expressions of love and sacrifice. Hot veterinarian meets mustard marketer and their very complicated lives become intertwined long distance. The cast of supporting characters is fantastic and the unexpected twist had me bursting into tears. Trigger warning for parental abuse and the aftermath of being an adult who carries that.
Also loved the term “airport dad” and I’m beyond thankful to be married to one.
“There’s nothing more beautiful than being witnessed to someone’s life, to know them inside and out and be with them through everything - share the same memories— memories are everything.”
