I have typed and erased this review so many times but what it all boils down it was: It was fine.
There was nothing about the two main characters that made them stand out to me. Not like they need to have a super loud personality or be into some obscure hobby to make them interesting, I just found them both to be fairly generic.
Will I ever read it again? No.
Did I wish I had borrowed it from the library instead of purchasing it? Yes.
Did I have a hard time finishing it? No.
Will I read the next one in the series? Sure.
