How to break my heart in 290 odd pages!
I literally laughed and cried whilst reading this book over a 2 day period - which is very quick for me recently!
Ove captured my heart in a way only a grumpy old man could. My heart went to him in the sections of back story. I was so happy in joyful moments. I didn't want him to succeed in his ultimate mission because I loved reading his adventures!
I openly wept at the end of the book, despite having seen the film adaption already and knowing the outcome. I didn't want it to come true though!
5 star read because of how much it gripped me and how much I cared about the story.
