i seriously couldn't find any reason to not give this book 5 stars.

the carlisle duology as a whole its so good. i loved the first book and it was the perfect introduction for vivian and jules' story, going from assistant/boss to being each other's significant other.

but the second book did the impossible, and that is being even better. usually romances go until both parts get together and maybe a bit after that, so it's nice to read stories about two people doing everything to stay together and not so much *get* together (idk if that makes sense tho 😭)

the communication got SO much better like seriously, it was so comforting seeing jules and vivian talk their minds and get through whatever problems they had, and i definitely liked how the power dinamic was treated since stories like this one tend to overlook it.

but OMG the chemistry 😭😫🤒 i can't seem to stop thinking about them nor i think i will anytime soon.

i really hope they have their happily ever after with felicity, they for sure deserve it.
