Just finished my re-read and WOW this book was amazing!! I know people feel Phury and Cormia's romance was short-changed, but I don't feel that way at all. Phury had a tough time dealing with past pain, addictions, a debilitating hero complex, being the Primale, his virginity, his misplaced love for his brother's shellan, etc etc etc that I don't think his love story would have worked any other way and it made the end so much sweeter and so darn inspirational, seriously it makes my heart soar!!
There was soooo much going on in this book, it was nearly impossible to put down. The infamous Blay and Qhuinn PT scene was even better than I remembered, I really can't wait for them to get their HEA, it's killing me!! Z and Phury ripped each other's hearts out, it was brutal. Lash the a-hole on a power trip really shook things up and finally brought excitement to the lesser sections. Rehv and the Princess creeped me out. JM and Xhex with the "say my name" was so freaking hot!
I could go on and on, but to sum it up, this book kicks so much ass!!

A lot happened in this book- Lash is the Omega's son, he's a vampire that can go out in the sun and he knows a lot about the vampire world and plans to destroy it from the top down- starting with the glymera; Phury and Cormia got together finally; the Chosen have been released from their duties and are able to live a normal life if they choose to; Tohr is back but doesn't want to live and refuses to feed; Qhuinn is John's bodyguard; John, Qhuinn, and Blay have joined the war as soldiers but not brotherhood yet; Phury is out of the Brotherhood and working on staying clean; Bella and Zsadist had their daughter; Rhev is the leader of the Princeps council which will hopefully help Wrath out but that remains to be seen; the old ways are no longer working for the vampire civilization so Phury made huge steps in changing it and the Scribe Virgin went along with the changes which was shocking...
