I knew what would happen at the end as I expected I hated it. I also think this book was pointless, Mak and Adena's relationship could have just been mentioned in Powerless. There was no need for them to have a book of their own, it wasn't anything extra special or exciting enough (though I enjoyed them as a couple) to have it's own story.
