Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult
4.25
I did not know Jodi Picoult, but after reading this book I am curious to read more. The character development is great. While reading, you keep discovering more elements to the story and to the different characters.
Reading about a school shooting is probably different for a European like me than it is for an American. And it feels a little weird to review it. But I think the different layers, tragedies, nuances, emotions, perspectives, fears, etc of the story gave me quite an interesting (for lack of a better word) insight.
What I really did not like though, was the last part of the story. A lot happened in the last few pages, not everything of which added to the story.
and Alex' pregnancy? Sigh
