Did not finish book. Stopped at 18%.

I can see how this would be exactly what someone else is looking for. I enjoy transformative works, genuinely, but in a much different way than this book does. I also read in some reviews that this book has a very specific idea of what makes someone trans in a way that discredits the experience of butch lesbians, and that just isn't to my taste. Conceptually interesting, in practice, not my thing.
