Wow, was this stupid on so many levels. It borrowed heavily from The Shining, Rosemary's Baby, Stepford Wives and just about every other haunted house story you could think of. And it did my least favorite thing, which is to re-state things 500 times just in case the reader didn't get it the first time. I'm not sure how many times they had to mention that a particular character was vegan, but it would have made a fine drinking game.
It's a bad, bad book. Creepy, sure, but by the end just annoying.
