Listening to the audiobook version by Reclam on Spotify. It doesn't have many likeable characters, Faust is a total creep turned on by "innocence", Gretchen likes to reiterate how much more Faust knows about the world compared to her and while Faust definitely is more to blame for her family's death, her role in it doesn't make her very likeable. Mephistopheles does have a few funny scenes, but with the way he talks about Gretchen I wouldn't say I liked him either. The story on the other hand was interesting though, at times a little slow paced.
