I found this book in a shop and was intrigued by the really pretty cover and stenciled edges. I am a sucker for a pretty looking book.
This is a trilogy that shows the same event from the POV of three different couples. That event just happens to be a small town cult The first book, Her Soul To Take, focuses on a young woman that the cult is Rae was a likable FMC but she has absolutely 0 survival instinct and walks right into trouble. This frustrates the demon, Leon, that has taken a 'physical' interested in her.
The story is intriguing, I wanted to read the next book as soon as I finished this one just so I could see more angles of "the event" that occurred in Abelaum. Sex is spicy, very spicy. It's a little rougher than I would usually prefer to read but both the FMC and MMC are consenting. Consent is actually a really big deal in the book. Quite good (consensual) demon smut with a really interesting story woven in.
