This is much more what I was hoping for when I read the first book in this series. I liked this book so much more, and even though there were a few things that still bothered me, I was swept away by my enjoyment so I didn't care nearly as much. I really enjoyed the antagonistic relationship between Rory and Hazel and the love and support they build with each other. While I don't usually care for "loved them since forever" tropes, this one didn't have that person placed on a pedestal to be worshiped, they challenge each other and earn their way into each others hearts.
