For a long time, I've been drawn to this book's cover. With October finally here, I felt an irresistible pull to dive in. The first few pages were all it took to ensnare me. This has quickly become one of my treasured reads. The story is a rollercoaster of emotions, exploring themes such as beauty, history, music, botany, eugenics, power, hope, and escape.
I found myself lost in the story, reading by the soft glow of a scented candle and accompanying the words with the author's curated playlist.
