Exactly what I wanted for a contemporary Christmas read. Nick Finch has made it on to my list of favorite book boyfriends. My competency kink is on full display here. A cowboy who owns a Christmas tree farm. He is a caretaker. A sexy DILF. Which is funny, because he spends the first chapter scolding his son for calling Shae a MILF. Lighthearted and heartwarming. The kids weren’t annoying - which I find is always a risk. I got annoyed with Shae at times - I just don’t vibe when women turn down help because they think they can’t be strong and independent AND accept help. But that’s a me thing.
