This was such a heartbreaking yet heartwarming book. The ways the characters learned and grew, the battle scenes, the tragedy and the hope were all so impactful. This book was quite easy to read as well, I felt myself flying through it. Super glad I read it; I will have to read more by ML Wang in the future.
