Internment by Samira Ahmed
3.0
The story has its good and bad. Much more could have been done through showing and not telling. The concept and references to past uses of concentration and internment camps give depth to the book and I wish the same was done to the characters. I really enjoyed the side characters but the main protagonist Layla as well as the main antagonist called the Director fell short.
