This was the middle of a series that I hadn't read. It made it more difficult because they brought back killers from the previous books. The start of the book was the daughter of a cop being victimized and her husband being killed. Then prostitutes end up dead. The father thinks it is the old killer father John. But the daughter was being stalked by a different killer. Good story but I definitely think I would appreciate it more if I had read the previous books.
