It's a good read, if not why would I manage to read a lot of L.J. Shen's novels, right? 😅 but what I want most in this story/ entire series is how all the male protagonist can say no to their girl like it was nothing! Like they're really competing in the throne of being heartless before they realize they love their girls. I like the action and a bit of angsty and slow romance in this book. Particularly for Brennan and how far he's so consistent on pushing her away so will recommend.
