Life before cell phones, social media, and the Kardashians... what’s that like?  Alexis is about to find out.  After having just lost her job, she comes home, sinks into a state of depression, and derails her life by forcing her boyfriend to end their relationship.  The following morning she wakes up in the year 2002 in a stranger's apartment on her former college campus.

She manages to find her younger self -  she goes by Lexi - they both freak out.  Rightfully so, if I’m being honest, because WTF?  After much convincing, Lexi agrees to help Alexis figure out how to get “back to the future” for lack of a better phrase.

Told in Alexis and Lexi’s POV’s, the reader gets an inside look at what makes both of them tick.  The impression you get from both of their perspectives isn’t who they are.  What each of them goes through is surprisingly emotional given what happens in the story.  The resolution is quite touching and because of that made me bump up my rating.
