Things We Do in the Dark is a highly addictive, dark & gritty thriller that I devoured in two days. I went into this blindly, other than reading the synopsis which had me hooked.

“Paris Peralta is arrested in her own bathroom covered in blood and holding a straight razor. Her celebrity husband dead in the bathtub behind her.”

I loved the heart-achingly messy & flawed characters in this story. Joey just about broke my heart watching her go through such a horrific childhood with an absolutely awful mother. I loved the music quotes so perfectly chosen and the Canadian references
