This was a fun, weird, easy read. I got through it in one day. Not sure I’ll ever read it again, haha, but it kept me entertained while I’m laid up with an injury. The romance was quite a bit heavier on the sexy side than the romantic side, which isn’t necessarily my preference, so take that as you will. Be forewarned that there are some elements of non-consensual intimacy in this book, and even a (non-descriptive) r*pe (not between any main characters). The main character’s first interaction with her love interest is him giving her or*l as she wakes up from being unconscious. However, it is framed as a very sexy interaction, and the heroine enjoys it. Again, take that as you will. The story is so ridiculous in every way, that I decided not to take it too seriously, and I had a generally good time with it. Overall, based on my usual rating criteria, I gave this book 2.75 ⭐️. However, because I enjoyed the book, I bumped it up to 3 ⭐️, because I never give books I enjoy under 3⭐️.
Tldr: Liked it, didn’t love it. It’s fun and silly—but check TWs!!!
