Face Offs & Cheap Shots by Saxon James, Eden Finley
4.0

Beck is the quintessential rich boy, trying to eke out any bit of fun before taking the reins at his Dad’s company, which he really doesn’t want to do.

Jacobs is on a scholarship and wants to help his family and also build his own life away from their farm.

They’re rivals on the ice and off, vying for the hockey team captain position, and they compete with drinking, streaking, and later, sexual skills.

It’s fun to read about them battling each other and transitioning from hate to love. They’re not so different, and they realize they care more than they thought they could for each other.

Fun story, Finley writes this genre well.
