So this book was cathartic and gave me a lot of Vin/Elend/Kelsier related closure that I really needed after the Hero of Ages. That being said this book very much feels like fanfic. Not only because
“what if this beloved character didn’t actually die but was alongside the main characters all along”
is a very fanfic-y plot premise but also because for much of this book the writing style feels like someone trying to imitate Brandon Sanderson’s writing style. I don’t really know how to explain this - certain snippets of dialogue just feel off?
