As a follow up to the consequential Vector Prime, Dark Tide does a serviceable job in showing the aftermath of the major events that preceded it. As a fan of Corran Horn, I particularly enjoyed this book and seeing how he interacted with a younger, brasher Jedi Knight. Due to the number of unrelated plot-lines, I did find the pacing to be bothersome at times, but overall enjoyed seeing the dynamics of different characters interacting in a way not previously explored.
