I enjoyed the story, and loved spending time in Midkemia. But the writing on this one was atrocious, with several instances of me scratching my head at various actions and things that happen. And I typically really enjoy the writing of both of these authors.
Still, I did enjoy the read, and that's is what it is about sometimes.
