I adored this romance, despite it being a straight one that I would normally dislike I actually ended up really connecting  with our main character Chloe as she has many disabilities I share such as fibromyalgia, chronic pain and chronic fatigue.

It covers dating as a disabled person and how it can vary to that of someone who is able bodied but also how to appropriately act as a partner of someone with disabilities which was really nice to see as all too often books with diverse characters in end up being inspiration/ trauma porn.

It also deals with mixed race relationships with our male love interest being white and our MC Chloe coming from a black family with a bunch of sisters she is very close to and who we see throughout the brown sister collections.

Overall it’s the perfect romance to breeze through this summer and hit the nail perfectly on its head with its disabled and POC representation
