Whatever Happened to Interracial Love? by Kathleen Collins

3.0

Kathleen Collins obviously had enormous potential as a writer. Her stories felt fresh and contemporary, even though they were written more than 50 years ago. Unfortunately, for the most part I did not enjoy this collection, but a few standouts ("How Does One Say," "When Love Withers All of Life Cries," and, especially, "Dead Memories...Dead Dreams") made it worthwhile.
