Building Bridges by Lia Fairchild

5.0

I am in love with this book. There is so much to love about this book so I'll list them down below in no particular order.

1. The pace - even though some might say it's slow, I think the pace was perfect. Because of that, you got to learn more about Logan and Mollie. And the other characters as well and how a very difficult and sad tragadey affected everyone.
2. Characters/character development - I already mentioned this but you get to learn about each character even though the other characters development is less compared to the two main characters. Which I love as I haven't read about this kind of development before. Each of the Bridges had their own distinctive personality that defines them.
3. The seriousness - Building Bridges talks about PTSD, the loss of loved ones and the aftermath of each. The way Lia wrote and spoke about these issues was amazing. She went into detail about each and how all characters were affected differently and they overcame them. She didn't just 'brush it off' like I have read/heard about in some books.
4. I SHIP LOGAN AND MOLLIE - These two went through so much and
I am glad they were able to overcome the hardships.

THE FRICKING PROPOSAL AT THE END WAS THE CUTEST SCENE EVER.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU READ THIS BOOK
