Where to Begin: A Small Book about Your Power to Create Big Change in Our Crazy World by Cleo Wade

4.0

A meaningful book of poetry that is so prevalent for 2020. It will remind you that we may feel powerless at times but every small act of kindness to yourself and others will make a larger impact than we realize. I saved so many passages, but here are just a couple of my favorite quotes:

"We all have pain in our lives and our family lineage. My pain might make me think one way or vote one way on a particular issue; your pain might make you do the opposite. We don't take a breath to ask ourselves, what in someone's life experience has influenced their way of moving through the world? What has each of us not healed from yet?"

"Self-care is how we claim peace of mind. When we know how to gift peace to our inner world, the pathway to creating peace in the world around us is so much clearer."

I could read Cleo Wade's writing/thoughts forever it seems. She has a way of conveying incredibly deep messages that really make you stop and think. It is so comforting and I wanted MORE of it! Just think, if this is what she wrote prior to 2020, what is she going to release after this mess of a year?!
