From Ashes by Molly McAdams

This is another book that is on my TBR pile that I decided to tackle. I have read another book by this author and really enjoyed it. OK, so I know the subject of physical and emotional abuse is a really hard subject matter. It does not matter who you are...male or female. People need to be protected. So I could understand Cassidy's shyness and even her close relationship with Tyler. He was her protector and knight in shining armor. However I was getting frustrated by Cassidy running to Ty when she knew what his feelings were towards her and she did not return them. She needed to just tell Ty it was not going to happen and move on. This back and forth game, she, Ty and Gage were playing grew old. It got so old that after about chapter 10 I got so mad that I literally threw down the book and refused to go back to it. I mean come on, there three were in college but they acted like children. Also, I don't really care that Ty and Gage had "hard ons" for Cassidy. In fact it was a "turn off" that this had to even be mentioned in the book. Not one of my favorite books by this author.
