I will admit that I put off reading this for a little while because I heard that it was basically porn, and graphic sex scenes make me uncomfy. While there was alot (alot) of sex in this book, I felt like there was definitely still enough plot and character development to keep me interested. I loved that SJM really explored trauma healing in this novel, and chose a less explored method of coping for Nesta. While I don't personally identify with her method of coping, I do identify with her trauma and mental health struggles, and found the representation very relatable and raw. I also love Nesta's whole badass Goddess of Death vibe in this book. When paired with Cassian's spicy cinnamon roll characterization, the dynamic is *chef's kiss.* Only docking a star because I can physically only read different words for genitalia so many times before I perish.
