Dnf around 30% started to get bored Michael wasn’t written as masculin enough to my liking … too much inner blabla and how love when it came to healing Kayla was dumb .. maybe this author is good at other tropes but mafia and hard ass men ain’t it .
Also I am glad Elsie is trying to take back her sexuality after being abused for 9+ years but it was super rushed and unnatural snd I don’t like that she didn’t get any medical visits after she escaped and was rescued by him and he married her .. I mean she was rapped repeatedly and abused and traffic the amount of people that she went thought for sure they were not clean and careful and also beaten and was starved and made to live in poor nasty conditions .. I know it’s fictional but it’s just asking to suspend reality too much especially when H is going down on her or even her being ok with some form of sex no worries about being checked first and even so soon after escaping that place.
