Such a sad book, but such an important one. I can't stop ugly-crying. As a parent, my heart breaks for Danielle, and I wonder how she is doing with Nick's loss now, some 20 years later. Has time healed her even partially, or is it an open wound that never gets better? I hope I never personally find out, and I'm so sorry for her loss.
