The Sleeping Prince by Melinda Salisbury

4.0

This is my favourite book of the series!

Now we’re following Errin, a girl who’s had a tough start in life and after her brother disappears it has only gotten worse. Looking after her ill mother, having given up her training to become an apothecary, she struggles to make enough money to keep a roof over their heads.

When war reached her small village and she is forced to leave her home Errin seeks help from a mysterious young man. She ends up travelling across the kingdom in search of a way to save her mother and herself but ends up facing far more than she ever expected.

This book builds on what we have learnt from the first book while also building on the folklore and refreshing the story from this new perspective.
