Their Resting Place by B.R. Spangler

4.5

Detective Casey White returns, gearing up for a move back to Philadelphia now that her missing daughter Hannah has been found.

But before the move can happen Casey and her fiancée Jericho are needed to help when close friend and former colleague Emmanual calls to tell them his cousin Charlie has been murdered.

And as Casey, Jericho, Tracey and Nichelle set out to investigate they discover Charlie was found in a field of sunflowers lured there by an invite and the word 'GUILTY'

But what's Charlie guilty of? And who could've wanted her dead?

That's what Casey and the team have to find out fast, especially when Tracey finds out that someone is currently in prison for an identical crime.

And when the team learn that Charlie was a member of a high school archery team called the 'Sunflower Girls. 'They fear the killer will strike again. Unless they find them quickly.

And while the race to catch the killer was going on, I was hooked, and I had no idea who the killer was, until they were exposed. Which is what great crime fiction is all about and it's one of many reasons why I would happily recommend Their Resting Place and the series as a whole to others.

Oh! And I can't wait for book nine especially after that ending!

Thanks NetGalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read Their Resting Place.
