I enjoyed this book so much. I think the pacing was perfect. I loved the relationships in the story or at least how Sarah J. Maas had set them up in this book.
I love that she also prepared us, the readers, for something that is going to be big. I can sense that the rest of the series is going to be exciting because I’m already so excited right now and I just want to rush to my shelves and pick up the next book and start right away.
That being said, I do find some of the characters fall flat but I think the author is doing that on purpose to add an air of mystery and intrigue. She craftily gave us just enough information about the main players of the story to get us to pay attention to them and make us curious to want to read on.
Can’t wait to get to the other books in the series.
