Who Cooked the Last Supper?: The Women's History of the World by Rosalind Miles

2.0

i've been delinquent on reviewing my books - and its because i have not liked any of them lately

i had the highest of high hopes for this book. i love women's history and the title is so gripping but i'm sorry to say it was such a let down. maybe i went into it with the wrong idea, but this book had so little about actual historic figures and a lot more general information. it was also incredibly graphic

i'm disappointed. i expected this book to be about the feats of women throughout history, but it felt like all i was listening to was (mainly bad) things that happened to women throughout history instead. not uplifting, graphic and kind of sad.
