Messy but good

The main characters are likeable.

I'm glad that Juliet started standing up for herself and what she wants in this book and I did not get to see her be the pushover she was before the accident because that would have driven me crazy. Once she made up her mind, she was firm on her decision and stuck to it. Except with Vaughn. The grovel wasn't enough in my opinion. She folded easily on the first approach. Or maybe I'm just more petty than she is.

Vaughn is overall a good guy. He's patient, comforting, and not at all arrogant — a nice change from the usual male leads that I read in sports romance. I just hate that he hurt Juliet at some point.

They have a good relationship because aside from good sex (a requirement), they actually started with lots and lots of talking and connecting that way. I treasured every time they called each other "babe".

I loved the team and their camaraderie as well. They seem like a fun bunch of people.

There were a few confusing moments with the POV but not a big deal.

I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a sports romance. I might even reread this in the future.
