yesididbringabook 's review for:
Marrying Winterborne
by Lisa Kleypas
Two things struck me as exceptional about this book:
1. The character development. Helen changes in an admirable way in this book. Even in "real" literature, you rarely see such blossoming personality, and it felt real.
2. The department store! One of the reasons I read these books is that I love history, and the historical context and branching out that Ms. Kleypas evidences here is remarkable. Rarely do authors extend beyond the typical references to "Prinny." Brava!
