A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

5.0

This was an exquisite follow-up novel. I really think that SJM progressed the story that was established in the first novel very nicely, and added even more dimension to not only the plot, but to Feyre as a protagonist. While I thought that Feyre was a likeable character in ACOTAR, by the end of ACOMAF, I found her to be the sort of protagonist that I could really root for. I was so grateful that this novel took us out of the Spring Court and allowed us, as readers, to get to see other lands and courts throughout Prythian. And overall, I loved the new cast of characters that we were introduced to. Cassian, Azriel, Amren, and Mor were extremely interesting, complex characters. But of course, above all, I totally fell in love with Rhysand. His character was totally unexpected, heartbreaking and enchanting. This easily became one of my favourite novels of all-time.
