Fool's Fate by Robin Hobb
4.0

The Fool's arc is the best thing about this book. Full disclosure, I did cry. But there was also such a great balance in tone and outcome. It wasn't a cheap cry, is what I'm saying. The tragedy runs deep and necessary here. (Unfortunately, this does mean the ending with Molly makes me rather dissatisfied.
SpoilerFitz's history with the Fool is far more compelling than his weird thing with Molly.

Lovely, even though it has me screeching.
