Fool's Fate
by Robin Hobb
The Fool's arc is the best thing about this book. Full disclosure, I did cry. But there was also such a great balance in tone and outcome. It wasn't a cheap cry, is what I'm saying. The tragedy runs deep and necessary here. (Unfortunately, this does mean the ending with Molly makes me rather dissatisfied. )
Lovely, even though it has me screeching.
Spoiler
Fitz's history with the Fool is far more compelling than his weird thing with Molly.Lovely, even though it has me screeching.
